for some reason we all want to fly
for some reason we dance under the midnight sky
a yearning for the unknown
wanting to taste all that surrounds me
hoping to somehow capture it all
today I'm just going to revel in it
in the way the stars fall across the night
in the way the leaves swirl through the air
today I am just going to breathe it all in
because someday I know I'll see the science of it
